Nursing Home Owner Has Unhealthy Tax Habits and Fails to Pay Ten Million Dollars in Payroll Taxes

The owner of a company that provided administrative services to nursing homes and other health care facilities, pleaded guilty for failure to pay over 10 million dollars in payroll taxes. Of the facilities this company owner provided services for, 20 were co-owned by him.

During 2017 and 2018, this individual failed to pay any of the companies’ payroll taxes, while continuing to pay employee salaries and company expenses.

He faces up to five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, and restitution.
